AALRR began with an emphasis on education law, and our attorneys helped shape this unique legal practice. More than 40 years later we remain focused on the distinctive issues faced by educational institutions, such as governance, labor, discipline, special education, and facilities. We represent over 450 school districts, county offices of education, community colleges, California state university campuses, the UC Regents, and private schools and universities. We created the benchmark for evaluating and improving teacher performance—the FRISK^® Documentation Model—now used throughout California and in other states.
