Overview

Riley Minkoff represents California school districts and county offices of education in a wide range of special education law and student disability matters. Ms. Minkoff focuses her practice on disability accommodation, student discipline, due process claims, Section 504 complaints, and discrimination claims.

Prior to joining AALRR, Ms. Minkoff worked as a Community Development Specialist for the City of San Diego’s Office of Immigrant Affairs. During law school, she also worked for U.S. Magistrate Judge Jill Burkhardt and was a legal intern for the University of San Diego Immigration Legal Clinic. She currently volunteers with the University of San Diego Name and Gender Marker Change Clinic and the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program.
