Contract Enforcement & Collective Bargaining

AALRR has been involved in public sector labor relations since the inception of the Educational Employment Relations Act in 1979. We have extensive experience advising and representing education clients in all phases of collective bargaining. Our attorneys have negotiated thousands of collective bargaining agreements and memoranda of understanding, and have worked extensively with the California State Mediation and Conciliation Service in mediation and fact-finding. These services range from acting as spokesperson or advisor in negotiations, drafting and reviewing proposed contract language, consulting with and advising the administration and governing board about negotiations, to representing clients through arbitration or litigation when necessary.

AALRR attorneys draft and review application forms and employment contracts for all categories of employees and consultants. Our services extend to advice about employee health and welfare benefits, including reviewing agreements for insurance and other services and helping clients implement those agreements.
