Overview

Stephanie Crespin represents California school districts, community college districts, and county offices of education on issues related to labor and employment, workplace accommodations, collective bargaining, charter schools and student discipline issues.  She regularly conducts investigations and prepares investigative reports in response to complaints from students, parents, employees, the EEOC, and the California Department of Education.  She also assists districts with preparing employee disciplinary notices, dismissal notices, and settlement agreements specific to each district’s collective bargaining agreement. She is also experienced in drafting pleadings and witness declarations for civil litigation matters including workplace violence and restraining orders.

Ms. Crespin’s knowledge and experience advising educational entities have helped her assist districts with analyzing the operational compliance of charter school petitions and drafting memorandums of understanding between districts and charter schools.
