Based on our years of experience representing numerous contractors, corporations, and public agencies in construction and construction-related matters, we have developed and maintained our own set of bid documents and general conditions for public works projects. The documents contain all the necessary notices and instructions to bidders, all relevant bid documents to be submitted by prospective bidders, and general conditions for construction of a project. Our firm has extensive experience in all aspects of competitive bidding for public works projects representing both owners and contractors, including reviewing bid packets and proposals, handling bid protests, and related litigation. Our comprehensive services include determining when an item must be publicly bid and what legal obligations exist in receiving and accepting bids. We have experience in handling disputes as to the bidding process and award of contracts, as well as claims against successful bidders.
