Our practice has advised numerous private and public sector clients on compliance measures for CEQA, including preparation, review, and certification/adoption of environmental impact reports, initial studies and mitigated negative declarations. We also counsel clients on how to use CEQA exemptions and mitigation measures most effectively. Since CEQA challenges can delay or derail projects, our team places particular emphasis on proactive compliance. We help clients defuse and eliminate potential challenges through early planning and involvement. However, when CEQA challenges do occur, we have extensive experience—and a track record of success—in both defending and prosecuting those challenges.
