Overview
Dustin Stroeve represents school districts, community college districts, and county offices of education in labor and employment law and in general education matters. Mr. Stroeve provides representation, advice, and counsel on a wide variety of matters, including school board governance, employment discrimination and harassment, Public Records Act compliance, eSports program implementation, student records privacy laws, unfair labor practices, Title IX investigations, decision making, and appeals processes.
Mr. Stroeve has experience drafting and negotiating contracts, including contracts for information technology and student services. He advises clients on issues surrounding educational technology, including copyright laws, artificial intelligence, and campus surveillance.
Mr. Stroeve represents clients in administrative hearings and litigated civil disputes, including tort and wage claims against school districts.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Stroeve interned at Tesla Motors and California Rural Legal Assistance.
