Overview

Michele Baumberger represents Southern California school districts and county offices of education in a wide variety of labor and employment law matters. Ms. Baumberger’s prior experience includes a particular focus on labor and employee relations matters involving such aspects as contract interpretation and grievances. Additionally, she has experience in workplace investigations regarding disciplinary matters and allegations involving cases of harassment and discrimination. Other aspects of Ms. Baumberger’s prior experience includes collective bargaining, Public Employment Relations Board (PERB) decisions, and development and implementation of policy and procedures.

Prior to joining AALRR, Ms. Baumberger oversaw the labor relations team for the Los Angeles County Superior Court of California, the largest trial court in the country. She also brings human resources experience from her work at the County of Los Angeles.  Ms. Baumberger also previously served in the California Army National Guard as a Paralegal Non-Commissioned Officer and was assigned to Trial Defense Services and the 40th Infantry Division.
