Paul Loya Receives 2021 CALSA Legacy Award

Paul Loya, a founding partner of Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo (“AALRR”) was honored as the recipient of the 2021 CALSA Legacy Award by the California Association of Latino Superintendents and Administrators ("CALSA").  Mr. Loya was acknowledged during the CALSA Summer Institute on July 9th in recognition of his commitment and dedication to the education community.  Throughout the years, Mr. Loya has served CALSA by providing legal expertise, analyses, and strategies in support of administrators as they are challenged to make tough decisions that impact student success.

CALSA is a community of diverse educational leaders skilled in addressing the needs of Latino/a students and dedicated to increasing the number of highly effective Latino/a administrators.  They advocate for the continued development and placement of Latino educational leaders who are committed to quality public education.

Paul Loya graciously accepted the award.  “It is my hope that, together, we can enhance our understanding of the issues affecting student achievement so that we can lead the way to better addressing the needs of California’s diverse and underserved students.”
