Governor Gavin Newsom Appoints Gabriel Sandoval to California’s Fair Employment and Housing Council
Cerritos, Calif.—Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo (AALRR) is pleased to announce that Governor Gavin Newsom has appointed Gabriel Sandoval, a partner in AALRR’s statewide education and public entity labor and employment law practice groups, to the Fair Employment and Housing Council.

The Council is also charged with responsibility of conducting inquiries and holding hearings on civil rights issues facing our state.
Mr. Sandoval remarked, “I am honored and grateful to serve in the Governor Newsom Administration as a member of the Fair Employment and Housing Council. I look forward to working with my fellow Councilmembers to address issues of equity in the workplace and housing for the benefit of all Californians.” Other Councilmembers include Chair Chaya Mandelbaum, Dale Brodsky, Tim Iglesias, Joseph Ortiz, and Dara Schur.
Mark Palin, AALRR’s Managing Partner, commented, “We are proud of Gabriel’s gubernatorial appointment to such a critically important post focused on civil rights protections in California, which continues his distinguished record of public service.”
