Overview
Neil Dekovich represents Southern California school districts and county offices of education in a wide variety of general education matters. His practice includes advising school districts on employment matters related to both certificated and classified employees, drafting and reviewing contracts for district programs, revising board policies and administrative regulations, and providing support for investigative processes.
Prior to practicing law, Mr. Dekovich worked as an Intellectual Property Paralegal at a major firm, where he helped businesses to procure, enforce, and transact in copyrights and trademarks domestically and internationally. He has gained further IP experience during law school as a Legal Intern for the Walt Disney Company’s copyright group.
Mr. Dekovich earned his Juris Doctor in 2024 from LMU Loyola Law School. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Global Studies and French from UC Santa Barbara, as well as a master’s degree in French Studies from the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Dekovich is fluent in French and has taught French Language courses at the university level. His diverse academic background and legal experience allows him to provide insightful and comprehensive guidance to educational institutions.
