Five AALRR Attorneys Recognized as Rising Stars
CERRITOS, Calif. —Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo (AALRR) is pleased to announce that five firm attorneys have been included on the list of 2013 Southern California Rising Stars as issued by the Super Lawyers, a national rating service of exceptional lawyers from more than 70 practice areas. The recognition honors exceptional Southern California attorneys who are 40 years old or younger, or who have been practicing for 10 years or less.
The recognition includes Irvine-based partner Anthony P. De Marco of the firm’s public sector labor and employment practice, who is also a fourth consecutive year Rising Star designee, and four attorneys from the firm’s Cerritos office. Partner Sundee M. Johnson works in the special education law practice; Amber M. Solano is a partner in the firm’s private sector employment law practice; Jennifer D. Cantrell is a senior associate in the firm’s Facilities, Construction and Property practice group; and Stephen M. McLoughlin is an associate in the firm’s Facilities, Construction and Property practice group.
Cantrell, Johnson and Solano also share the added distinction of inclusion in the publication’s 2013 list of the Top Women Attorneys in Southern California.
“We are pleased to have five of our attorneys recognized in this year’s list of Rising Stars and to be included among others in our firm who have been honored with this distinction,” says AALRR Managing Partner James C. Romo.
The California Rising Star honor is allotted to no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers practicing in the state. This multi-step process includes independent research and peer assessment and appraisal. The results will be published in the July 2013 issues of Los Angeles magazine and Super Lawyers magazine.
