Join us for the 2017 Education Law Conference.  Our theme this year is California Strong: Building Stronger Schools Through Effective Leadership.  The conference will provide attendees with the tools necessary to lead teams effectively.  As education administrators and board members, you are challenged every day to make tough decisions that impact the success and achievement of California’s students.  We hope to encourage and inspire you as you make “California Strong.”

Several members of our firm will be making presentations on some of the most important legal developments of the year.  We will address key topics of concern for superintendents, assistant superintendents, directors, managers and board members, providing knowledge and insight, as well as practical information with an eye toward limiting liability.  We have enabled you to customize your learning experience through the selection of breakout sessions tailored to address your specific department-related challenges.  Topics for this year include:

Education Law Conference - ART CONTEST

In conjunction with our 2017 Education Law Conference, Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo (AALRR) would like to promote equity and excellence in education by sponsoring a statewide art contest for all junior and senior high school students enrolled in public education.

Art pieces will be displayed during the 20157Education Law Conference on November 6, 2017, at the Stockton Hilton and on November 8, 2017 at the Cerritos Sheraton. The five winning pieces will be on display in the firm’s headquarter office in Cerritos and on the firm’s website for one year.

The five winners will also receive a $1,000 check and the winning students' school will receive $500 worth of art supplies sponsored by AALRR.

CONTEST DATES: 

Entries must be postmarked no later than October 23, 2017. Winners will be notified on October 30, 2017.
