DFEH Director Phyllis W. Cheng Will Present Keynote Address at 2014 AALRR Employment Law Conference

CERRITOS — AALRR is pleased to announce that California Department of Fair Employment and Housing Director, Phyllis W. Cheng, has agreed to participate in our 2014 Employment Law Conference ~ Fabulous Fifteen. Director Cheng will lead our afternoon general session and provide our guests with her vision and future for the DFEH.

The anniversary program will offer a complete agenda on cutting edge developments in labor and employment law. Topics include wage & hour law, leaves, hiring today’s workforce, health care reform, ework environment and much more – 12 topics in all.  Event organizers have confirmed that Dr. Esmael Adibi, Director, A. Gary Anderson Center for Economic Research, will return in 2014 and provide a fact-filled economic forecast for California and the nation during the morning general session.

Now in its 15th year, this annual event has brought together human resource professionals, in-house counsel, members of the private bar and various experts to discuss the laws and procedures governing the California employment environment.

Also new and noteworthy, the conference has qualified for continuing legal education credits and attendees will receive recertification credits from HRCI.
