AALRR Jumps 27 Spots on Orange County Business Journal’s Annual List of County’s Biggest Law Firms
Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo (AALRR) is thrilled to announce its 2018 ranking as the 46th largest law firm in Orange County by the Orange County Business Journal. The Journal annually ranks the top firms with headquarters or significant operations in OC. At the time of the survey, AALRR’s Irvine office employed 23 attorneys—a 77% bump from the previous year, when the firm was ranked 73rd on the list. The average pace of growth for the county’s biggest firm was 3%, making AALRR’s 77% growth trajectory particularly unique.
Anthony De Marco, the Partner In Charge of the firm’s Irvine office, spoke to the Journal about AALRR’s impressive jump on the list, mentioning that much of the increase was due to the firm’s new pairing with respected boutique law firm Bowie Arneson Wiles and Giannone (BAW&G). After the founder of that firm, Alex Bowie, decided to scale back operations, he and his team looked for a firm to associate with that would be a great fit with their notable experience in school and water district work. AALRR is well established in these fields and others, which has allowed the former BAW&G attorneys to seamlessly transition their own practices to AALRR and solidifies the firm’s reputation as leading experts in California.
