The Title IX regulations, which became effective on August 14, 2020, have the full force and effect of law, and they significantly impact the way in which school districts must respond to verbal or written reports of sexual harassment and sexual assault.

The purpose of the interactive training is to explain the Title IX regulations and the procedures for processing a Title IX complaint from the intake stage through a discipline recommendation, if any.

This training qualifies for 3 hours of training for the members of your Title IX team, as recommended by the federal Office for Civil Rights.

Join us as we discuss what districts should know and how to comply with the regulations.

Who Should Attend?

Title IX Coordinators and Deputy Coordinators, Investigators, Decision Makers, Appeal Decision Makers, and Informal Resolution Facilitators

Registration:

$179 Per Person

Make checks and purchase orders payable to AALRR.

**Cancellations must be received by August 12, 2022, to receive a refund.  Refunds will not be issued after this date.

You will be able to post our written training materials on your website per the Title IX requirements to demonstrate who from your District or COE has received the required training.  This training will help demonstrate that your District or COE has not been deliberately indifferent to implementing sexual harassment complaint procedures under the Title IX regulations.
