Todd Goluba Provides Video Presentation on the Brown Act for Community College League of California

The Community College League of California (CCLC) selected Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo (AALRR) partner Todd Goluba to film a video for its Leadership Development Knowledge Center. Goluba’s 82-minute presentation, “Introduction to the Brown Act 2016,” can be found on the Community College League’s website, and on YouTube,  The Brown Act is California’s open meetings law for local legislative bodies. Goluba’s video will be used to train new community college trustees.

“Atkinson, Andelson represents many community college districts,” Goluba said. “My video presentation is intended to help their leaders and staff, as well as anyone involved in governmental meetings, to understand and comply with the Brown Act.”

Goluba is the chair of AALRR’s Northern California Education Law Practice Group. He represents school and community college districts as general counsel and chief labor negotiator. California Lawyer magazine honored him with a 2012 CLAY (California Lawyer Attorneys of the Year) Award for his extraordinary achievement in education law.
