Attorney Terry Tao Quoted in Beverly Press regarding Purple Line Extension
On June 13, AALRR partner Terry Tao was quoted in a Beverly Press article regarding the Purple Line Extension construction making its way through Beverly Hills. The article focused on a June 7 Board of Education meeting, where the city's school board expressed worries about various risks the construction might pose to its portable classrooms that some schools are utilizing as the construction continues.
Tao, who attended the meeting, states:
"These portable classrooms were put in the lacrosse field, long before we, the district, knew there was going to be a [construction] laydown area next door... there was no anticipation until literally last year that there was going to be a laydown area next door to the high school."
