Nate Kowalski Selected to Exclusive Group by the Daily Journal

07.22.2013

CERRITOS, Calif. —Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo (AALRR), a statewide firm, announced today that partner Nate Kowalski has again been named to the Daily Journal’s list of the Top 75 Labor & Employment Attorneys in California. This is the second time that Mr. Kowalski has been included among this exclusive group.

Kowalski represents employers in both the private and public sectors, handling a wide array of labor and employment matters. His clients include cities, water districts, superior courts, retailers, manufacturers and entertainment companies.

Behind this year’s nod by the Daily Journal was a case Kowalski handled for the San Diego County Superior Court, successfully defending the court’s implementation of layoffs in 2012. The Daily Journal also recognized his victory for Ralphs Grocery Company in a disability discrimination case that was adjudicated in private arbitration. In both matters, Kowalski worked collaboratively with his clients to craft litigation strategies that were cost-effective and resulted in total vindication on the merits.

No stranger to awards, Kowalski has been recognized as a top labor and employment lawyer in California by Chambers USA, has received repeat recognition as a “Southern California Super Lawyer” and was also named to the Daily Journal’s list of the Top 25 Municipal Lawyers in California.

“We are very pleased to have Nate honored in this manner," remarked Robert Wenzel, Chief Operating Officer.
