Law Firm’s Diversity Efforts Draw Recognition from California Lawyer
The law firm of Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo (AALRR) gained recognition in the November 2011 issue of California Lawyer magazine as a state leader with the most minority partners. A full 22% of AALRR’s partners are minorities, which compares favorably with national industry wide figures of just 6%.*
The November issue of the magazine profiled a column about the diversity portion of the California 50 list published annually in California Lawyer. The 2011 list of the Top 50 firms in California was published in September and also identified AALRR (#36) as an industry leader in the recruitment of women partners.
“Much of the success of our firm can be attributed to the diversity of the team,” according to firm Managing Partner James C. Romo. “We represent California businesses and public agencies with preeminent attorneys who reflect the diversity of this great state.”
