Kowalski Again Named to List of Top Municipal Lawyers in California
CERRITOS, CALIF. —The Daily Journal has again named Nate Kowalski from the Cerritos office of Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo (AALRR) to its list of the Top 20 Municipal Lawyers in California.
Kowalski was recognized for his litigation victories on behalf of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California and the San Diego Superior Court. The Metropolitan Water District was facing retaliation claims by a former employee, but Kowalski persuaded the judge to grant summary judgment to the District. On behalf of the San Diego Superior Court, Kowalski was able to defeat a Writ of Mandate action which sought to overturn layoffs imposed by the Court.
In addition to this year’s honor, Kowalski was named to this prestigious list in 2011. “We are very pleased to have Nate honored in this manner. He has worked with the Metropolitan Water District and California’s Superior Courts for many years.
