Cerritos Partner Receives Daily Journal Top Women Lawyers in California Designation
Cerritos, CA—Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo (AALRR) announced today that Cerritos partner Irma Rodríguez Moisa has been selected for inclusion in the Daily Journal’s Top Women Lawyers in California. This award recognizes Ms. Rodríguez Moisa for her accomplishments and the excellent client service she provides.
In her practice, Ms. Rodríguez Moisa litigates public and private labor and employment matters in state and federal court. Ms. Rodríguez Moisa offers unique insights to develop winning strategies for clients, from advice and counsel, to arbitrations, litigation, and at trial. She also handles labor negotiations.
In addition, Ms. Rodríguez Moisa provides employment-related counseling to clients and speaks to employers and related groups about labor and employment issues, focusing on harassment, discrimination and retaliation matters.
Ms. Rodríguez Moisa has twice been recognized by the Daily Journal in its Top 25 Municipal Lawyers in California list in 2011 and 2012. In 2011, the Daily Journal profiled her representation of the City of Los Angeles in its negotiations with the Coalition of Los Angeles City Unions. In 2009, Ms. Rodríguez Moisa, was named to the Daily Journal’s annual listing of the “Top Women Litigators” in California. Since 2004, she has been recognized as a Super Lawyer by Southern California Super Lawyers magazine.
Ms. Rodríguez Moisa received her B.S. degree in business administration from the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley, and her Juris Doctor from Boalt Hall, School of Law, University of California, Berkeley. Ms. Rodríguez Moisa also earned a Master’s in public policy from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.
