Carol Gefis Joins Irvine Office as Partner

CERRITOS, Calif. — Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo (AALRR) is pleased to announce that Carol A. Gefis has joined the firm’s Irvine, California office as a partner. She brings 25 years of employment law knowledge, including significant litigation experience in state and federal court.  

In addition to her litigation practice and counseling clients on a day-to-day basis, she has appeared before the Labor Board, Department of Fair Employment and Housing, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and various other agencies in California.

"We’re pleased to have Carol join our team,” said Paul Fleck, Practice Group Leader. “Our clients will benefit from her extensive experience in employment law, especially counseling clients on concerns including management of problem employees, as well as alleged disability and sexual discrimination and harassment issues.”

Outside the office, Carol sits on the board of directors for 211 OC and the Dana Point Yacht Club and serves as general counsel for the Tri-C Go Kart Club.

The University of Wisconsin and Hamline University School of Law graduate served on the Jessup International Moot Court team and had the opportunity to take liberal arts and law classes at the Albert – Ludwigs Universitat in Freiburg, Germany.
