AALRR Honored with the California Lawyers Association’s Law Firm Diversity Award

09.06.2018

Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo (AALRR) is pleased to announce it has been selected as the inaugural recipient of the California Lawyers Association’s Law Firm Diversity Award. Previously presented annually by the State Bar of California, the award is given to a single law firm each year in recognition of their outstanding efforts in promoting diversity and inclusion in the legal profession.

“Diversity and inclusion are at the top of the list of priorities for our firm as we strategize how to thoughtfully grow our team of talented attorneys, and how we can further engage with the communities we serve,” comments Managing Partner Mark Palin. “To receive this inaugural award from the California Lawyers Association is both an honor and a benchmark in recognition of our continued commitment to these priorities.”

This year, AALRR was named one of the top firms in the country for minority attorneys by Law360 and the best in the nation for its size for minority equity partners. As part of its efforts to continue to lead the legal field in diversity efforts and innovations, the firm will shine the spotlight on thought leaders in inclusivity in the workplace at its first Civil Rights conference this September.

The Award will be given to members of the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee by Diana Becton, Chair of the State Bar Council on Access and Fairness, on Friday, September 14, at the California Lawyers Association annual meeting in San Diego.
