AALRR Receives California Minority Counsel Program’s Diversity Award

For the first time ever, Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo (AALRR) received the California Minority Counsel Program’s (CMCP) prestigious Drucilla Stender Ramey Majority-Owned Law Firm Award, one of three diversity awards given by the organization annually. With its win, the firm joins an impressive list of recipients, including the Kaiser Foundation, Chevron, Gap Inc., and Intel.

Named after the California attorney who dedicated her career to achieving equal opportunity and access in the justice system, the Drucilla Stender Ramey award is annually given to the CMCP majority-owned law firm that has demonstrated the strongest commitment to diversity and inclusion. The award is based on the firm’s culture of inclusivity, its prioritization of diversity initiatives, and its commitment to giving back to the community, as well as the number and percent of minority attorneys within the firm and those who occupy leadership roles.

This award further demonstrates AALRR’s commitment to diversity. The firm was recognized earlier this year by Law360 and Associated Builders and Contractors for its high percentage of both minority attorneys and minority equity partners.
