Three AALRR Attorneys Named 2019 California Rising Stars by Super Lawyers

Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo is thrilled to announce three of its attorneys have been named to the 2019 Super Lawyers Rising Stars list. This highly selective recognition spotlights exceptional attorneys aged 40 and younger, or those in practice for 10 years or less. Attorneys selected to this list each undergo a multiphase selection process involving peer nomination and evaluation, as well as independent research. With only 2.5% of attorneys appearing as Rising Stars, these honorees are truly the “best of the best”.

AALRR attorneys appear frequently in Super Lawyers annual rankings, and this year’s Rising Stars selection was no different. Shawn Ogle, Brian Wheeler, and Susana Solano appeared on the list this year.

This is the fourth year Shawn Ogle, a partner at the firm’s Cerritos office, has appeared on the Southern California Rising Stars list. Mr. Ogle is a seasoned litigator in the firm’s Commercial and Complex Litigation Practice Group with a proven history in a broad range of commercial, class action defense, and high-profile trust & estate matters.  Mr. Ogle prides himself on his commitment to providing his clients with dedicated service from the initial stage of client counseling and case analysis through trial and the appellate process.

Brian Wheeler, a partner in the Cerritos office, is an experienced litigator in intellectual property matters and lead’s the firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation Team. His intellectual property practice focuses on trademarks, trade dress, copyright, trade secrets, and design patent litigation. He also regularly advises clients in the area of competition and employee mobility, with an emphasis on the intersection between intellectual property and employment law. This is the third year he has appeared on the Southern California Rising Stars list.

Serving as Of Counsel in AALRR’s Sacramento Office, Susana Solano advises employers and management regarding issues arising out of the employee-employer relationship, including the prevention of employment discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful termination, and wage and hour violations. She also assists employers in developing compliant policies and practices and provides training to prevent litigation. When litigation is necessary, Ms. Solano has experience guiding her clients through every stage of litigation. This is the second year Ms. Solano has appeared on the Northern California Rising Star list.
