AALRR Attorneys Honored as “Lawyer of the Year” and “Best Lawyers in America”
Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo is thrilled to announce that four attorneys have been named to Best Lawyers’ 25th annual Best Lawyers in America list. In addition, firm partner Mary Salamone has been named the Construction Litigation “Lawyer of the Year” in Orange County. Best Lawyers’ “Lawyer of the Year” designation is given to just a single lawyer in a specific practice area and location, making this a high honor for Ms. Salamone and her practice. A partner in the firm’s Irvine office, Ms. Salamone has dedicated her over-three-decade career exclusively to the area of construction law and has acquired an in-depth knowledge regarding all aspects of both public and private construction projects and disputes. She is frequently recognized for her outstanding achievements in the field, including being named a “Best Lawyer in America” in 2018. In addition to her being recognized as a Lawyer of the Year, Ms. Salamone returns to the list of “Best Lawyers in America” for its 2019 edition.
Terry Tao, John James, and Jeff Burch have all also been named as 2019 Best Lawyers in America. All three attorneys have been listed as such for multiple years in a row, further solidifying their reputations as the top attorneys in their respective practice areas. Mr. Tao, a partner in AALRR’s Cerritos office, has appeared on the “Best Lawyers in America” list every year since 2016 in recognition of his Government Contracts work. Of Counsel in the firm’s Cerritos office, Mr. James first appeared on the list in 2006 and has been recognized every year since for his outstanding Tax Law practice. Jeff Burch, of counsel in the firm’s Irvine Office, has been recognized by the list every year for over a decade, first appearing as a Best Lawyer in Construction Litigation in 2008.
“To have four attorneys ranked as top lawyers in the country is a tremendous achievement for the firm, and one that confirms our dedication to retaining the best and brightest talent in the state,” commented Managing Partner Mark Palin. “Specifically, Ms. Salamone has been an asset to our construction litigation team for many years, and we are thrilled to see her recognized for her work with such an outstanding honor.”
