AALRR Attorney Thomas Lenz Appointed Vice Chair of California Bar’s Labor and Employment Law Section

08.03.2016

Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo (“AALRR”) announces that Senior Partner Thomas Lenz has been appointed Vice Chair of the California State Bar’s Labor and Employment Law Section Executive Committee, beginning October 2, 2016.  His term of appointment will last one year.  Lenz currently serves as the Committee’s Secretary.

“I am honored to be appointed by the Bar and to work with an outstanding team of attorneys from across the State who serve on the Section’s Executive Committee,” Lenz said.

The Labor and Employment Law Section develops top quality educational programs for California attorneys and provides outreach to the public on day to day workplace issues. The Section publishes the California Labor and Employment Law Review, as well as regular E-News bulletins, updates on new case rulings, and books on labor and employment law topics.  The Section also provides grants to support the “Your Legal Rights” radio program, which airs on KALW-FM (San Francisco) and other public radio stations, and is available at kalw.org and the iTunes Store.  Lenz handles labor and employment law programming and has made several appearances on the show.

Besides serving on the State Bar Committee, Lenz practices labor and employment law from AALRR’s Cerritos and Pasadena offices, heads AALRR’s traditional labor and National Labor Relations Board practice, teaches Labor Arbitration Law at the USC Gould School of Law, and sits on a variety of boards and committees.
