CalPERS’ Office of Audit Services conducts regular audits of its contracting agencies to ensure that they are correctly enrolling members and accurately reporting all required information. Identifying issues before an audit can save your agency time, trouble and money.
CalPERS audits routinely uncover liability in the following areas:
- Salary schedules;
- Special compensation;
- Retired annuitants;
- Part-time or temporary employees; and
- Independent contractors and affiliate agencies.
We will provide you with tools to prepare for, respond to, and address audit findings, if necessary.
