We will discuss best practices for managers to professionally, equitably, and consistently manage the progressive discipline process, including how the absence of those best practices can sink the case for the employer in litigation or at hearing. Managers can use the FRISK Documentation Model which is designed for evaluators as a practical and straightforward method for documenting unsatisfactory employee performance. The primary objectives of the Model are to identify the common elements necessary for legally sufficient documentation and simplify the drafting of documentation by establishing a common framework.
