Asthma, Allergies, Diabetes - Oh, My! Section 504 Updates & Refreshers

04.12.2024
Program: 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Location: At Your Desk

April 12, 2024
1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.

On February 20, 2024, OCR issued new guidance around Section 504 eligibility for these specific impairments. No, these are NOT the long-awaited proposed amendments to the Section 504 regulations (we are still waiting!), but this new guidance does give us some insight for what is to come.

Join Alefia Mithaiwala as she takes a deep dive into these specific physical impairments and provides refreshers regarding best practices for making Section 504 eligibility determinations.

This training is geared towards administrators or other Section 504 team members (teachers, counselors, nurses, etc.) who would like more information about how to address asthma, allergies, diabetes and other physical impairments in a school environment, or those who need a refresher on Section 504 eligibility criteria.
