This training is for School Districts, County Offices of Education & SELPAS in Central Coast Counties only. 

"I Received a Complaint Alleging Student Sexual Misconduct. Now What?"

In the 2022-2023 school year, site administrators experienced an unfortunate uptick in student-to-student sexual conduct of an oral, verbal, and physical nature. Since the Title IX regulations were implemented in August 2020, administrators can no longer review and respond to these acts, even with younger students, in the same manner as done prior to the pandemic. Please join us to learn about the new obligations under Title IX, including how to identify potential Title IX cases, next steps in reviewing the allegations and alerting the appropriate District-level administrators, and how to work with parents and students in this process.
