Complaints in a Legally Compliant Manner
Whether you receive a formal written complaint or an informal verbal complaint, critical aspects of responding are determining the appropriate complaint process and conducting a prompt, thorough, effective investigation into the complainant’s concerns. The primary purpose of this session will be to advise administrators and supervisors as to how to timely determine the correct complaint procedure for processing the complaint and to prepare them to thoroughly gather facts so they can confidently make employment and education decisions and issue effective remedies related to the complaint.
