Title IX requires education institutions, including school districts and community colleges, to protect against sex discrimination, including protecting against gender identity discrimination. This presentation will review Title IX and the many ways in which it applies to the facilities of all institutions, which are often overlooked.
Discussion Topics Will Include:
- Similar facilities for boys' and girls' athletic programs
- Student access to facility based on their gender identity
- Privacy and equal access concerns
- Safety features to protect against sexual misconduct
