This webinar focuses on the new issues in Brown Act compliance relating to remote meetings and use of social media by public officials. Board members, administrators and executive assistants will all come away with an understanding of the new laws and best practices. What can board members publicly post on social media? What are the best practices for managing public comment during a Zoom board meeting? How do you avoid serial meetings when communicating with board members outside of a meeting? All these issues and more will be explored in an interactive format.
