Overview

Wilson Melbostad represents California school and county offices of education in matters involving special education, IDEA/Education Code, Section 504, ADA, and student discipline. He possesses ample experience in preparing witnesses, litigating hearings and fact findings, and negotiating settlements.

Previously, Mr. Melbostad served as a public defender for two years in Brooklyn, New York. He also boasts close to a decade of experience in South Korea. Namely, Mr. Melbostad worked for a major law firm in Seoul, principally counseling international clients in business and antitrust matters. Additionally, he founded and ran a legal aid clinic in Gwangju, South Korea, where he provided a wide range of legal services to migrant workers and asylum seekers.
