Overview

Amie Gonzalez provides advice and counsel for employers with respect to labor and employment law. Ms. Gonzalez handles matters involving employment policies and procedures, litigation, leaves of absence, discrimination, harassment, negotiations, retaliation, compliance with state and federal labor laws, and wage and hour.

While studying at Loyola Law School, Ms. Gonzalez participated in the Poehls/Hobbs District Attorney Practicum and conducted over 30 preliminary hearings as a Law Clerk with the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office. After law school, she was selected as a 2022 Honorable Victor E. Chavez American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) Fellow.

Representative Matters

  • Orange County Superior Court, Case No. 30-2022-01284565-CU-PO-CJC: Ms. Gonzalez drafted, argued, and won complete summary judgment defending a higher education institution in a premise liability case, where plaintiff’s entire action, as well as co-Defendant’s cross-complaint, were dismissed.
