Overview
Aleena Ahmad represents employers in the private sector in all aspects of labor and employment law matters including employment policies and procedures, federal and local agency claims, wrongful termination, and wage and hour. She has experience in all aspects of litigation including law and motion practice, taking and defending depositions, and conducting written discovery.
Ms. Ahmad obtained her J.D. with a distinction in public service from Southwestern Law School. While at Southwestern she served as secretary for the Student Bar Association, a peer mentor for first year students, and participated in the International Entertainment and Media Law Program which gave her the opportunity to study abroad in London during the summer after her first year. She also participated in her school’s Street Law Clinic where she taught law-related critical life skills to high school students in Los Angeles to inform them of their rights, laws that apply to them, and provided legal information and resources they needed to successfully transition to independent living and adulthood. As an undergraduate, Ms. Ahmad attended the University of Arizona where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
