2024 Education Law Art Contest

In conjunction with our 2024 Education Law Conference, Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo (AALRR) would like to promote equity and excellence in education by sponsoring a statewide art contest for all junior and senior high school students enrolled in public education.

Art pieces will be displayed during the 2024 Education Law Conference on November 5, 2024, at the Stockton Hilton and on November 12, 2024, at the Cerritos Sheraton. The winning pieces will be on display in the firm’s headquarter office in Cerritos and on the firm’s website for one year.

I.        Winning Entries:

Five winning entries will be chosen by AALRR’s Education Law Practice Group Attorneys. AALRR will give each of the five winners a $500 check and the winning students’ schools will receive $250 worth of art supplies sponsored by AALRR. The check for art supplies will be mailed to the student’s art teacher.

II.        Contest Rules:

Students should create a work of art that visually captures the essence of The Power of Bold Leadership—in a celebratory fashion.  Entrants will be critiqued on theme, execution, and creativity.

III.        Contest Dates:

The contest entry period will officially begin on August 26, 2024, and end on October 18, 2024.  Entries must be received no later than October 18, 2024. Winners will be notified by October 25, 2024.

IV.        Submitting Entries:

All entries must be submitted to the following address:

Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo (AALRR)
Attn: Keesha Clark, Conference Coordinator
12800 Center Court Drive, Suite 300

Entries may be mailed or hand delivered. AALRR does not assume responsibility for lost, late, misdirected, and illegible entries, all of which shall be disqualified.

V.        Criteria for Judging:

Entries will be judged on originality and creativity used to capture and depict the contest theme.

VI.        Disclaimer:

Upon submission, all entries shall become the property of Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo and will not be returned.
