AALRR’s Southern California Education Law Practice Group Welcomes Anthony Ramos as Partner

Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo (AALRR) is pleased to announce that Anthony Ramos has joined the firm as a partner in its Southern California Education Law practice group. Mr. Ramos will be based out of our Pasadena office.

Prior to joining AALRR, Mr. Ramos served as General Counsel to the Ventura Unified School District for 17 years. He has more than 21 years of experience representing school districts and public entities and has been practicing law for more than 27 years. Mr. Ramos noted that he chose AALRR because of its experience and reputation for providing top quality legal services to educational institutions and public agencies.

Mr. Ramos advises and represents educational institutions in matters involving governance, the Public Records Act, conflicts of interest, First Amendment issues, student search and seizure, student discipline, and student privacy/student records, among others. He also provides training sessions to staff and board members in topics such as mandated reporter training, the Brown Act, conflicts of interest, student search and seizure, student data privacy, sexual harassment.
