Inland Valleys EAC ~ Sexual Harassment Prevention Training

The Inland Valleys Employer Advisory Council in partnership with the Employment Development Department is hosting a Certification Training: Harassment Prevention.

Harassment lawsuits are on the rise in California, and California law AB 1825 requires supervisors of companies with more than 50 employees to receive training and be certified n sexual harassment prevention every two years. Through an interactive training session, labor law attorney William Betley will cover the required information for companies to stay in compliance.

Attendees must participate in the full workshop to receive the certification. Business owners, employee benefits managers, human resource managers, industrial relations managers, and supervisors and staff are encouraged to attend.

Employees of Inland Valleys EAC members may attend his seminar at the current membership price of only $15 per person, nonmembers registration fee is $25. The registration fee includes a continental breakfast and seminar materials. Pay on the date of the event, but advance registration is preferred.
