EAC ~ The Value of Personnel Policy Audits
AALRR partner, Paul Fleck will conduct the 2013 Certificate Workshop for The Employer Advisory Council of Orange County.
The Value of Personnel Policy Audits
Compliance is a daily, weekly and monthly struggle. Any employer faces stringent requirements regarding its policies & practices, including but not limited to payroll, personnel, record keeping, amongst others. An employer's failure to identify and correct any perceived deficiency unnecessarily exposes the company to not only potential penalties, but also increases the likelihood of litigation and other remedial measures. Employers should therefore take a proactive approach and audit its own policies and practices before it is faced with outside criticism.
This seminar will discuss how employers should evaluate their internal policies and practices, their effectiveness, as well as identifying policies & practices that every employer should have. Attendees will learn how to identify policies/practices, how to conduct audits, and how to correct any deficiencies identified. Further, attendees will learn the latest on current governing agency enforcement practices and applicable laws.
