California employers face consistent challenges trying to comply with new laws and new interpretations of existing laws. In addition, employers face new processes and procedures with the Department of Fair Employment and Housing. Employment litigation continues to increase and so do the costs of defense.

Our presentation will review applicable laws relating to discrimination, harassment and retaliation and discuss current status of actions by the Department of Fair Employment and Housing and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. We will give tips on avoiding claims and guidance in best practices for responding to agency claims and/or litigation.

We will discuss insurance coverage to protect your company from the high costs of defending yourself from claims and litigation.  We will discuss the various options for Employment Practice Liability Insurance coverage. Understanding your options will allow you to make the most cost-effective choices for coverage based on your particular business needs.

We will focus on the real life situations that you face in your workplace and offer some common sense advice for avoiding potential liability. Bring your questions and problems to this interactive seminar.

Join us for this complimentary informative session.
