Do you know what to do when an employee requests a leave of absence? Avoid the most common mistakes managers make when administering leaves. This session will help administrators apply the leave provisions of state and federal law. It will cover the Education Code, the Family Medical Leave Act, the California Family Rights Act, the California Pregnancy Disabilities Leave Act, Healthy Workplaces, Healthy Families Act of 2014 (AB 1522), New Paid Child Bonding (AB 2393) and other federal and state laws, including the interplay with disability accommodation issues.
