2014 Inland Empire SHRM Employment Law Conference - "Energizing and Preparing for the Future"

Join us at the 2014 Inland Empire SHRM Employment Law Conference -"Energizing and Preparing for the Future - Beyond the Basics."

AALRR attorneys, Bob Wenzel, Susan Steward, Jonathan Judge, Paul Fleck and Bill Betley will present a series of workshops for the IE SHRM conference scheduled in November. AALRR is pleased to co-sponser this event with SHRM in the Inland Empire.

Our first annual conference was such a success that IE SHRM will once again offer the full-day conference.  This yearwill provide a great opportunity for HR practitioners to learn the latest topics impacting HR professionals. We are excited to be able to offer this event again this year and we hope you will join us. The IE SHRM conference committee is committed to providing opportunities for our members to stimulate thinking and generate new ideas. We seek to offer timely and relevant information and opportunities for networking to enhance the professional development of HR professionals in the Inland Empire. We strive accomplish this by selecting high quality speakers and presenters who have expertise in their field.  

Our 2014 conference, Energizing & Preparing for the Future - Beyond the Basics will be held on November 6, 2014, from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm at the Victoria Gardens Cultural Center in Rancho Cucamonga.  This year's program is designed with the experienced HR practitioner in mind. Topics that will be covered are:

• High Stakes Litigation: Recent Developments in Wage & Hour Law
• HR Procedure Guide to Proper Workplace Investigations
• Record Retention Requirements: Standards & Pitfalls
• Manage and Understand Your Role When Dealing with California Agencies: Cal-Warn, Cal-OSHA, DFEH, EDD
• The Exploding Scope of Disabilities

The November conference will also feature various products and programs available through business partners representing benefits providers, training sources, recruitment resources, and may other HR related vendors. This event has been submitted for six (6) HRCI credits. 

Register before September 15 for the special rate of $175 for IE SHRM members and $250 for non-members. Regular event price for IE SHRM members $199; for non-members $299.
