Overview
Alexandria Davidson represents California public school districts as general counsel. She has experience with employment-related matters, including certificated and classified employee discipline, reductions of force, collective bargaining interpretations, and general labor and employment issues. Ms. Davidson has experience representing clients before the Office of Administrative Hearings, the Civil Rights Department (formerly the Department of Fair Employment and Housing), Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Public Employment Relations Board, Department of Industrial Relations, and the Labor Commissioner. Ms. Davidson also advises on general governance issues, the California Public Records Act, and the Brown Act.
Ms. Davidson is an experienced investigator and manager of investigations conducted under District policies and processes, including Uniform Complaint processes and complaints against employees. She routinely advises clients regarding Title IX processes. Her practice also includes student discipline and general student matters.
