Limited Workplace Video Surveillance by Employer Is Not an Actionable Invasion of Employee Privacy

An employer’s limited use of workplace surveillance does not invade the privacy rights of its employees, the California Supreme Court ruled this week. (Hernandez v. Hillsides, Inc. (August 3, 2009) 2009 WL 2356904.)
