Jonathan Judge


Jonathan Judge is a partner in the Cerritos office of Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo. He advises employers in labor and employment law and various employment litigation matters, including drug testing, mass layoffs, disparate impact analysis, WARN Act, trade secrets, privacy, technology in the workplace, piece rate compensation, municipal and state sick leave, local, state and federal minimum wage law, and the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

Mr. Judge is an active member of the Executives’ Association of Orange County (EAOC) and Painting and Decorating Contractors of America (PDCA). Since 2010, Mr. Judge has also served on the California Association of Health Facilities (CAHF) legal subcommittee. 

Mr. Judge received his Bachelor of Science degree, with honors, in anthropology from the University of Utah, and Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California. While at law school, he served as Notes Editor on the University of Southern California Review of Law and Women’s Studies.

Publications and Speaking Engagements
Mr. Judge is a Contributing Editor to The Developing Labor Law (Hardin & Higgins, Sixth Ed. 2012). He also oversees AALRR’s employment law blog and the Private Labor and Employment Practice Group’s Client Alerts. A recent article from Mr. Judge is “NCA ~ Agencies Expand Employee Protections: Is Your Club Prepared?” (April 26, 2016).

Community Involvement
Mr. Judge provides pro bono legal work for employers through Public Counsel.
