Two AALRR Attorneys Recognized by Daily Journal as Top Labor & Employment Lawyers in the State

Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo (AALRR) attorneys Irma Rodríguez Moisa and Scott Dauscher were named two of the top labor and employment attorneys in California this week by the Daily Journal. This prestigious designation is given annually to just 75 lawyers statewide. In addition to publishing profiles outlining their outstanding service and contributions to the field, the legal newspaper held a reception in honor of the attorneys on Tuesday, July 18.

“Ms. Rodríguez Moisa and Mr. Dauscher demonstrate their leadership, expertise, and dedication to their clients’ needs daily—and their recognition by the Daily Journal is well deserved,” comments Managing Partner Mark Palin.

This is the second year Ms. Rodríguez Moisa has received this honor from the newspaper, which has also named her to its Top Women Lawyers list. An experienced litigator, labor negotiator, and trial attorney, she has practiced law for over two decades. She has won numerous defense verdicts in jury and bench trials and has successfully litigated matters in areas including discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and the First Amendment. She represents a number of cities in labor negotiations, including the cities of Long Beach, Anaheim, and Los Angeles.

Scott Dauscher successfully represents employers before state and federal courts in all manner of employment litigation matters, including wage & hour, prevailing wage, wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, cases. His recent victory for his client in the reported case Roy Allan Slurry Seal, Inc., et al. v. American Asphalt South, Inc. received widespread media attention as an important case of first impression. He heads AALRR’s Complex Commercial Litigation practice group as well as its Class Action Defense group.
