AALRR Co-Sponsors Third Annual Law Merit Badge Day for Boy Scouts at Loyola Law

On Saturday, November 7, 2015, Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo (AALRR) co-sponsored the “Legal Eagles” of the Los Angeles Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America’s (BSA) third annual Law Merit Badge Day at Loyola Law School. Law Merit Badge Day included presentations from lawyers and law enforcement officers and featured a special address from Steve Cooley, the former Los Angeles County District Attorney. more

Over the past several years, transit agencies throughout California have increasingly been hit with wage and hour class action lawsuits filed on behalf of transit operators. These class actions often allege that a transit agency’s route scheduling software does not fully account for all of the time that the operators are required to work in order to complete their routes. more
